Cory Dale Canfield was born in Centralia, Washington on December 25, 1975, to John and Debbie Canfield. He was raised in Centralia but moved to Montana where he lived most of his adult life until his passing on November 21, 2023.
He met Jenny Allen, the love of his life when she was working the Drive-up window at the Grand Mound Dairy Queen. They dated and later married on June 17, 1995. They have been blessed with four children who filled his life with joy. Experienced in Autobody work, Cory started his own business Roundup Collision Center and Towing. Cory had a good eye and steady hand, excelling in autobody repair work, restoring wrecked vehicles to their original glory.
Cory lived life to the fullest, deeply loving his family and friends. He served as a baseball and soccer coach for many years, both in Montana and Washington State. He loved watching his kids and their teammates learn new skills on the field. He shared his love of the outdoors with his family, hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, and hiking. His latest interest was in Jiujitsu Martial Arts, which he enjoyed sharing with both family and friends. He loved cooking and blessed his family with amazing meals and desserts, instilling in them an appreciation for the love of great food! Cory also served as a Lieutenant with the Bull Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.
Cory participated in Rise Up Kings, where he was baptized and transformed with a new passion for Christ that hugely impacted family, work, and his daily life. It is with this assurance that we know Cory rests in the arms of Jesus.
Cory is survived by his wife Jenny Canfield, son Cody Canfield, and daughters Emily, Ivy, and Sierra; his parents John and Debbie Canfield and in-laws Terry and Gail Allen; siblings Cari(James) Aliff, Sam(Brittny) Canfield, Edisa Canfield, Josh(Karen) Allen, Chris(Rebekkah) Allen, Travis(Carrie) Allen and Megan(Kyle) Vansyckle, along with numerous, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Cory was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob and Arleta Canfield and Jim and Gerry Foglesong.
Celebration of Life for Cory will be held on January 13, 2024, at Roundup Elementary School at 3 PM and in Centralia, Washington on February 24, 2024.
