Open House for Roundup's 1st Welcome Plaza

Roundup, Montana – SAVE THE DATE! Roundup Community Partners (RCP) is proud to host an Open House for Roundup's first Welcome Plaza on April 20, 2024 at 9:45am. The Welcome Plaza includes a Visitor Information Kiosk and Roundup's first public Main Street bathrooms.

The Welcome Plaza project was a collaborative community effort with dozens of partners who enabled its development and helped the Plaza become a reality. RCP is incredibly grateful to all of the grantors, donors, partners, and volunteers who enable this project to come into fruition! Without their support and generosity, this project would not have been possible!

The Open House will start across the avenue from the Plaza at EnergiSystems' building with a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating Greg Wilhelmi's gift to the community, the Montana Matinee mural. Greg's mural is 11' x 40' and painted with acrylics. Greg says that "Roundup, my hometown, the crossroads and heartbeat of Montana cattle country, was the inspiration for this painting and the perfect site for this mural. The mural "Montana Matinee" captures the spirit, the drama, the danger, and the anguish of the 1880's trail drives that moved cattle from Texas to Montana." Greg supported the Plaza project with the donation of his time and talent for concept sketches for the development of the project and his constant support.

So mark your calendar for April 20th at 9:45am and come celebrate these Main Street improvements and our partners who made them possible! RCP extends sincere thanks to:
