The Melstone Broncs traveled to Miles City on Monday March 4th to play the Jordan Mustangs in a challenge game, the Broncs won, 42-39, and punched their ticket to the state tournament. The Broncs played the first game of the state tournament on Wednesday March 6th against the Lustre Christain Lions, losing 51-44. They moved to the loser out bracket and played against the Winnett - Grass Range Rams, losing 28-47, and bringing their season to an end.
The Melstone Lady Broncs played their first game of the state tournament on Thursday March 7th against the Plentywood Wildcats, winning 45-39 and advancing to the semi-finals. On Friday night the Lady Broncs faced the Roy-Winifred Outlaws, losing 26-47, and moving to the loser out side of the bracket. The Lady Broncs faced the Roberts Lady Rockets on Saturday morning, Lady Broncs battled to the end but lost 46-48. Congratulations to the Broncs and Lady Broncs on a great season!
