A Friendly Reminder about Helicopter Landings at RMH:

When Maintenance is notified that a helicopter is landing, they have about 20 minutes to get everything set up. They start with making sure all vehicles are moved from the main parking lot. Then they place orange cones across the north and south of second street West, so the street is closed off. The street is closed off because they will not land with cars or people below them. As you will see on the map you can park on the opposite side of the street from the hospital. That parking is at you own risk and we are not liable for anything that may happen to your vehicle. Maintenance stands outside to make sure that nobody tries to drive through or tries to park inside the cones. Once the cones are up, do not go past them. Thank you for putting our patients and staff first!
