Harold Dale Anderson

Harold Dale Anderson, 86 of Roundup passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024 at home with his wife and family by his side.

Harold was born in Roundup, Montana on October 26, 1937, the youngest of nine siblings, to Clarence and Gladys (Crosmer) Anderson. He graduated from Roundup High School in 1956 and spent all of his life in Roundup working at service stations before joining A&A Implement, selling and working on John Deere equipment until he retired. Harold was known to get caught in a hay field well into his 70's, working on a hay baler to get many farmer friends out of a bind.

Harold married Sharon Brewer on October 28, 1961. Together they had five children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Dad also loved playing his harmonica while all of his kids and grandkids sang and danced along. He was a member of the Roundup Volunteer Fire Department for 23 years. He also made the BEST pancakes and served them at the annual Odd Fellow breakfasts for many years.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, infant brothers Roy and Harry, brothers Earl, Vern and Wayne, sisters Evelyn VanDyke, Ginny Harrison, and Mildred Cartwright, and great granddaughter Paisley Jo Bennett.

Harold is survived by his wife, Sharon of 62 years, son Dennis (Debbie) Anderson of Roundup, daughters Sheryl (Dan) Holliday of Belgrade, Sara (Mike) McCleary of North Carolina, Sheila (Rick) Griffith of Roundup and Deanna (Rob) Wolff of Roundup, grandchildren Jay (Richelle), Jessica (Cody), Trey (Kaitlin), Tanna (Derek), Breanna (Shawn), Katie, Brett, Sydney, Jayce, Kaide, Ira, Saydee, Savanna, Kylen, seven great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
