Roundup Community Partners, RCP, Held an Informational Meeting June 17.
Discussed was the Roundup City Growth Policy.
Courtney Long of Great West Engineering led out with Roundup Mayor Sandra Jones adding insight.
Community needs assessment boards were presented Six posters had Roundup's goals and objectives listed. The needs were categorized on each poster and included:
Housing
Land Use
Infrastructure
Community Services
Natural and Cultural Resources
Economy
These information boards were then scrutinized by attendees who then further ranked items on the boards as "green" for agree or "red" for not important.
The answers given will help Great Western and Roundup as they pursue funding for projects going forward.
Ms.Long explained this growth policy is not a regulatory document, and must be updated every five years. It will have drafted goals, objectives, and an action plan. All the information posters are on display and can be viewed at the Roundup city office.
