This year the Roundup Swim Team kicked off the 2024 season on June 5th. We have a total of 31 swimmers this year, they are coached by Kathy Probert and Junior Coaches Ethen Shoup and Ava Mallo. The first meet of the season was in Plentywood and Kaelin Pisle was the only swimmer that attended the swim meet. Kaelin competed in the 15-19 boys age category. Kaelin swam the 100-meter Breastroke and placed 1st, the 100-meter Backstroke and placed 2nd, and the 400-meter Freestyle and placed 2nd.
The second meet of the season was held in Chinook. Kaelin Pisle placed 3rd in the 200-meter IM, 2nd in the 100-meter Breastroke, and 3rd place in the 50-meter Butterfly. Ethen Shoup placed 3rd in the 50-meter Freestyle, 5th in the 50- meter Butterfly, and 4th in the 400-meter Freestyle. Erich Fluet got 4th in the 50-meter Freestyle, 4th in the 100-meter Breastroke, and 4th in the 100-meter Freestyle. Emmett Shoup placed 2nd in the 200-meter IM, 5th in the 50-meter Freestyle, and 2nd in the 50-meter Butterfly. Tristan Mallo placed 4th in the 100-meter Breastroke, 6th in the 100-meter Freestyle, and 3rd in the 50-meter Butterfly. Kyle Shoup got 6th place in the 50-meter Freestyle, 5th place in the 50-meter Breastroke, and 7th place in the 50-meter Backstroke. James Bradely got 7th place in the 50-meter freestyle, 5th place in the 100-meter Freestyle, and 8th place in the 50-meter Backstroke. Nash Gift got 8th place in the 50-meter Freestyle, 7th place in the 100-meter Freestyle, and 10th place in the 50-meter Backstroke. Robert “RJ” Moore placed 10th in the 50-meter Freestyle. Remy Gift placed 10th in the 25-meter Freestyle, 9th place in the 50-freestyle, and 6th place in the 25-meter backstroke. Asher Adams placed 11th in the 25-meter Freestyle. Ava Mallo placed 3rd in the 200-meter IM, 2nd place in the 100-meter Breastroke, and 2nd place in the 50-meter Butterfly. Kayla Hill placed 5th in the 50-meter Freestyle, 3rd place in the 100-meter Breastroke, and 4th place in the 50-meter Butterfly. Shayanna Gift placed 6th in the 200-meter IM, 7th place in the 50-meter Butterfly, and 6th place in the 200-meter Freestyle. Violet Hill placed 8th in the 50-meter Freestyle and 5th place in the 50-meter Breastroke. Evelyn Mallo placed 3rd in the 50-meter Freestyle, 2nd in the 50-meter Freestyle, and 3rd place in the 50-meter Butterfly. River Bryant placed 10th in the 50-meter Freestyle and 5th in the 50-meter Backstroke. Sierra canfield placed 12th in the 50-meter Freestyle, 9th place in the 50-meter Backstroke, and 4th place in the 50-meter Butterfly. Vivienne Mallo placed 2nd in the 25-meter Breastroke, 3rd in the 50-meter Freestyle, and 3rd in the 25-meter Backstroke. Anna-Mae Miller placed 12th in the 25-meter Backstroke. The8 & Under Mixed 100-meter Freestyle Relay placed 2nd. The 11-12 Mixed 200-meter Freestyle Relay placed 2nd. The 15-19 Mixed Relay placed 2nd. The 13-14 Boys Freestyle Relay placed 1st. Boys 13-14 Medley Relay placed 2nd, the Mixed 11-12 Medley Relay placed 1st, and the 15-19 Mixed Medley Relay placed 2nd.
The third swim meet of the year was held at Harlem. Gage Sem placed 4th in the 50-yard Freestyle, 3rd in the 100-yard Breastroke, and 4th in the 50-yard Butterfly. Erich Fluet placed 2nd in the 100-yard Breastroke, 4th in the 100-yard Freestyle, and 5th in the 50-yard Freestyle. Axcel Sem placed 9th in the 50-yard Freestyle, 8th in the 100-yard Freestyle, and 12th in the 50-yard Backstroke. Nash Gift placed 10th in the 50-yard Freestyle, 7th in the 100-yard Freestyle, and 10th in the 100-yard Freestyle. Remy Gift placed 10th in the 50-yard Freestyle and 10th in the 25-yard Backstroke. Asher Adams placed 12 in the 25-yard Freestyle. Kayla Hill placed 6th in the 50-yard Freestyle, 6th in the 100-yard Breastroke, and 5th in the 50-yard Butterfly. Shayanna Gift placed 5th in the 200-yard IM, 4th in the 50-yard Butterfly, and 4th in the 200-yard Freestyle. Violet Hill placed 8th in the 50-yard Freestyle and 5th in the 50-yard Breastroke. Annabella Fluet placed 7th in the 50-yard Breastroke and 2nd in the 50-yard Butterfly.
