DINNER THEATRE PRODUCTION COMING SOON

By Adair Rademacher

It is the pleasure of Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. and the Illustrious Musselshell Players to present to you, their faithful patrons, "The Boardinghouse." This frantic, fun family comedy written by Vern Harden is being staged at the Musselshell School for two evenings of dinner theatre performances and a Sunday matinee. On Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28, dinner seating begins at 5:30 pm for a three-course sit-down dinner and the theatre performance will commence immediately after dinner. The cast will return for a Sunday only matinee performance September 29.

"The Boardinghouse" is a play about the Home Sweet Home Boardinghouse, a clean, cozy home with a zany cast of boarders and a mystery to be solved. Miss Harriet, the proprietor, manages guests with the help of the none-too bright and perpetually terrified Tweenie. Boarders include Mr. Richards, who is a poet dying to spark his inspiration, Gladys Klotz, who has a direct line to the spirit world, Martha Willis, who has every imaginable illness, Ivy who paints faces and poor Hortense who is trying to keep up with Ivy, Dirk Shadow and his sister Veronica, who are on the hunt for buried treasure (or is it really just something left over from dinner)? And lastly, the ever–vigilant Dr, Sni-fell, who has trouble keeping his patients straight but has a cure--for everything. The play promises to have you laughing from beginning to end.

Reservations are required for the dinner theatre only. The cost is $25.00 per person for a dinner and theatre performance. Seating is limited and tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Reserve your seat for the dinner theatre by calling Ken Eickhoff (406-947-5200). If there is no answer, leave a detailed message. All messages will receive a return call.

No reservations are required to attend the Sunday matinee. The cost of the matinee is $10.00 per person (preschool free). The curtain goes up promptly at 2 pm. Coffee and cookies are served in the main hall after the matinee.

This feature is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Denver, Colorado. All profits generated from this fundraiser are used to operate Musselshell School as a community center.
