The Central Montana Learning Resource Center Cooperative will be screening students in Melstone, Roundup, Lavina, Ryegate, Golden Valley Colony, Harlowton, Martinsdale Colony, Deerfield Colony, Duncan Ranch Colony, Judith Gap, Hobson, Stanford, Surprise Creek Colony, Geyser, Moore, King Colony, Spring Creek Colony, Roy, Winifred, Grass Range, Ayers Colony, Denton, Winnett and Lewistown to identify those who may have hearing difficulties. The screenings will begin in August and will continue until approximately the end of October. All Kindergarten, First, and Tenth grade students, new students, and students referred by parents and/or school personnel will be screened. Children who do not pass the hearing screening will be rechecked by an audiologist.
