Signal Peak Community Foundation is accepting grant applications until September 15, 2024. Grants will be awarded in October to non-profit organizations located in Musselshell County.
The board’s general guidelines for applications are:
emphasis on infrastructure related projects preference for projects where sponsoring organization covers part of the project costs preference against operating costs or personnel grant funds to be spent locally if possible.
Applicants are expected to attend the meeting to answer any questions the board may have about their application. Meeting is October 6th 2024 at 5:00pm at the Roundup city office.
The Signal Peak Community Foundation was established in 2011 and has awarded many grants to non-profit organizations, including county and city government departments, schools, and community organizations.
A new program sponsored by Signal Peak Energy under the umbrella of the Foundation is a loan program that will provide assistance to businesses in Roundup and the surrounding areas in making physical improvements to the exterior of their property.
Applicants for grants at the May meeting were awarded $111,896.38. At the same meeting 8 graduating seniors of Roundup and Melstone schools were awarded $16,000. Continuing student scholarships amounted to $25,000.
