RMH Activity Director Awarded MHCA Commitment to Caring

If you've ever visited the Intermediate Swing Unit at Roundup Memorial Healthcare (RMH), there is a great chance you've met Judy Puckett. She has been the Activities Director at RMH since 2013. During her tenure, she has been known for many things including her amazing baked goods, her leadership in the facility's auxiliary program, but most importantly her care of the residents.

Judy is the 2024 Montana Health Care Association's (MHCA) recipient of the Commitment to Caring Award. Each nominee for this award should demonstrate the following qualities that make the nominee an outstanding employee, such as customer service skills; dependability; enthusiasm; interpersonal relationships with staff, residents, physicians, families and the community; innovation; quality of care; special achievements; and volunteerism.

"Judy works very closely with residents, family members, and staff members" said Velma Bulcher, Director of Nursing Services. "She is always their biggest advocate and cheerleader. Judy is very dependable, and her enthusiasm is contagious. Most importantly, our residents love her and the joy that she gets from her work. The love that she has for our residents is always evident to everyone around her, just by watching her."

Judy was awarded at the MHCA Annual Conference on October 1st. Thank you, Judy, for your commitment to our residents and RMH.
