Carmen Lester Tracy, was born in Michigan City, Indiana on January 29, 1949, and died in the comfort of his home with his family on October 8, 2024, fro lung cancer that affected his lungs and brain.Tracy served his country proudly as an infantryman in the US Army during the Vietnam War, alongside his battle buddies who joined with him. Tracy moved to Lavina, Montana with his wife, Diana Tracy in 2004 where they lived out their dream of enjoying the peacefulness of retirement. Tracy loved and lived a simple life of hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, Natural Light with his bar buddies, balogna and cheese sandwiches, and after-lunch siestas. He was beloved by his community and very often helped the Amish kids get to school on time, safely, and warm from Montana's winter storms. Tracy is survived by daughter Tammie McCutcheon, and grandchildren Travis, Jammie, and Savannah Baker, Jack and Antonette Tracy, and Hunter and Laycie McCutcheon. Shaded by a huge tree, Tracy is resting peacefully in Lavina Cemetary where he was laid to rest on October 18, 2024, surrounded by family.
