Every October I follow a personal ritual and do a Halloween movie marathon in celebration of Halloween that I love. One of my favorite actors is Nicholas Cage.In a 2009 movie release he played a role in a film named “Knowing.” The narrative is about a predicted solar flare that will destroy earth. In the story a school girl 50 years earlier heard whisper voices that told her so.In a time capsule her school had each student write a letter and put it inside to be opened 50 years later. The character that Cage plays,John has a son Caleb who gets her letter then begins hearing the whisper people. The ending is dramatic as Angels are sent to earth and they rescue children to start another human colony on another planet similar to earth. The children’s parents are left behind on earth to perish in the intense solar flare.I began thinking do angels actually exist?Angels are described as supernatural beings that are often depicted as extra terrestrial beings who can communicate between God and humans. They are a spiritual being without a physical body. The Bible clearly tells us that God sends angels to protect people.Find this in psalm 91:11-12.Jesus mentioned that each of us has a guardian angel who is apparently assigned to us when children. Many Bible verses talk of angels.God will dispatch his angels at just the right time ,and they”ll meet us just within the veil and carry us to the heights of glory.Meaning death.Gabriel is perhaps the most well known angel. He is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. In the Abrahamic religions,Gabriel is mentioned he is an archangel with the power to communicate God’s will to humanity.I have read and see a rise of Christian Nationalism in the United States. Has God sent his angels to save us from destruction by allowing our moral compass to decay any further than it has already? We all need to examine this question and do some research on angels. Whether angels exist or not we need a spiritual awakening as a country because we have walked on the wrong path far too long.Americans are very self destructive at the moment.
