Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor, There are millions of dollars pouring into this year’s Montana Senate Race to attack Jon Tester’s record. Jon is running for his 4th term in office. His opponents say that Tester has changed; Jon’s record speaks for itself. HE HAS NOT CHANGED! He has never quit working for rural America, for agriculture, for small communities, for Veterans, Natives, and rural healthcare.

Because Sheehy and his opponents know all the good work Jon Tester has done to keep Montana’s values in Washington, they have to tell the big lie that he has changed. Tim Sheehy grew up in suburban “rural” St. Paul and has very different values than Jon Tester. I want to keep someone who cares about what truly is “ The Last Best Place.” That’s why all these wealthy outsiders are wanting to have it for themselves. And then there will be a big change! More places filled with trophy ranches and wanna be cowboys who will transfer our public lands to make it easier for guys like Tim Sheehy to buy up our heritage.

Sincerely, Donna Quick

Circle, MT
