“Roundup Community Partners is hosting a Community Coffee in collaboration with Musselshell County on November 18th at 530pm at the Musselshell County Central Commons. Come have coffee and Honey Bun’s Hometown Bakery goodies and learn more about the market analysis and reuse renderings for the Wier Building Project!
The County’s scope of work includes cleaning up the hazardous materials and stabilizing the building envelope. Once the building is stable and “clean”, an intentional developer will be chosen through a Request for Proposal process to own and complete the full renovations.
Musselshell County has been working with a professional development team, Kansas State University – Technical Assistance to Brownfields (KSU-TAB). KSU-TAB is helping guide our leaders and community through the Brownfields redevelopment process, using a custom-selected team of experts to address our site-specific needs.
The KSU-TAB team is providing a feasibility assessment, a market analysis, and three-dimensional renderings of the future building redevelopment. These products will make our “clean” building more appealing to developers and help the community create a unified vision for the future property that meets our greatest needs and preserves our cultural heritage. We hope you will come join us on November 18th!”
