Carmen Lester Tracy

Carmen Lester Tracy was born in Michigan City, Iniana on January 29, 1949, and died in the comfort of his home with his family on October 8, 2024, from lung cancer that affected his lungs and brain. Tracy served his country proudly as an infantryman in the US Army during the Vietnam War, alongside his battle buddies who joined with him. Tracy moved to Lavina, Montana with his wife, Diana Tracy in 2004 where they lived out their dream of enjoying the peacfulness of retirement. Tracy loved and lived a simple life of hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, Natural Light with his bar buddies, bologna and cheese sandwiches, and after-lunch siestas. He was beloved by his community and very often helped the Amish kids get to school on time, safely, and warm from Montana’s winter storms. Tracy is survived by his loving wife, Diana Tracy, sons Bryan Tracy and Cody McKeever, daughter Tammie McCutcheon, and his grandchildren Travis, Jammie, and Savannah Baker, Jack and Antonette Tracy, and Hunter and Laycie McCutcheon. Shaded by a huge tree, Tracy is resting peacfully in Lavina Cemetary where he was laid to rest on October 18, 2024, surrounded by family.
