City Council Meeting

During the Roundup City Council meeting on December 3, 2024, there were two agenda items under new business.

Ordinance Number 482, amending the Roundup Municipal Code revising Section 24-31 by designating and limiting truck routes in the city. It was approved to amend to designate the truck routes as State Route 87 North and South and State Route 12 East and West. There are no local truck routes permitted within the city limits. This does not apply to buses, service trucks or other vehicles that may have the business of deliveries

and transportation to specific locations in the city.

Ordinance Number 483, amending the Roundup Municipal Code revising Section 18-3 regulating noise. This amendment was voted down by the council and not approved.

More information was given about the delivery of the new water to the city. Delay was due to the problem receiving two vaults. That problem has been resolved, with the new date possibly as early as two weeks from this night. Discussion as to what will happen with the current water well will take place in the future.
